Arkansas '93

This is from a NADAC trial that was held in conjunction with an Octoberfest celebration at an outdoor mall in Little Rock, Arkansas. The judges were Sue Henry and Joann Bartley. Sally Sheridan passed out flyers regarding the AKC considering adding an agility program. That was a heavy topic! At that time they (AKC) weren't sure which format of agility to add to their program.* A major letter writing campaign was discussed in tents all around the agility field. This was of more concern at that time than what began happening next to the agility ring. Seems there was scheduled another contest during ours, the firefighters push-o-war contest. Each team manned with a hose attempted to push the barrel back on their opponents.

* In 1993 USDAA and NCDA (now UKC) agility existed. NADAC had just sprung up in '93 and at the time was much more like USDAA with lowered jump heights.

Quick, run the next dog before they start up again!
