My Jack Russel Max died Monday from
cancer. He was 14 years old and had been doing agility since he was just a
little puppy. Max was "one of the first".
He was one of three JRTs at the 1991 USDAA Nationals. Got a forth place in
Gamblers. His mother, Maybe and a JRT from Houston, Rufus, were the other
two.
He was the first Agility Champion at the JRT Nationals in 1990 & 1991.
Placing first in both classes, both years. He also placed 2nd in obedience
those
years.
He was the first dog in Florida in the Master level classes. The clubs all
hired Master judges just for him. Thank you all.
He was one of the first JRTs to get his ADCH.
He was one of the first JRTs to do AKC obedience. Placing 2nd in the
Delaney
system for JRTs.
He also did flyball, earth dog, JRT go-to-ground and anything else I asked of
him. He was my "Little Man" in the house and I miss him dearly.
He taught
me so much and gave so much of himself to me. Most of all, I miss him
laying
next to me on the couch.
