This loss is a huge one for the agility community. I met
Sue last year when we judged together and found out that we had many
interests in common besides dog agility. She immediately
struck me at that first meeting as being a tremendously vibrant,
energetic, strong-minded, and unique individual. I also enjoyed her
tales of the early days of USDAA dog agility in Texas. We will all
miss her.

I am truly sorry to hear about Sue Henry. She was one of
the first judges to come out here to the Ohio/Kentucky area when we were just a
small fledgling group of exhibiters starting out in agility in the early 1990s.
She had a great deal of patience for us as beginners in those days.

I am still in disbelief and so saddened by the death of Sue
Henry. Although she hailed from Texas, Sue Henry was an all-time favorite judge
here in the Northeast. Just last week a fellow CATS club member and I were
talking about Sue having missed judging at the Championships in Arizona, and how
she was one of our favorite judges. She always had a professional, but warm and
sincere presence.
Sue judged CATS (Keene, NH) big USDAA Grand Prix Regional event a year ago
September. The trial was a huge undertaking for our group (as any Regional is
with the high entries) and Sue was patient and helpful to the very last run. The
last class on Sunday was Masters Snooker and I was scoring. Folks were checking
with us about Super Qs in the P3 class and though I hated to bother her, since
we were unsure about the rules I approached Sue soon after her last dog had
finished. She was SO nice and SO helpful -- got out the rule book, stood by the
score table and kindly helped us through it. Not a HINT
that she might be exhausted having just finished two very long days of judging a
zillion runs. I will never forget that. And everyone in the agility community
will not forget all that Sue Henry gave to them for so many years.

Dear Friends,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Suen Henry. Even though
we lived in different parts of the country, our paths crossed on many occasions.
She was the first to judge a run of my dearly departed JudyJudy at a West Valley
Dogsports USDAA event in late 1991 or early 1992- I have lost track of the exact
dates. My first memories of her are how nice and friendly she was, especially to
the newbies (read-me) at the show. She was a classy lady and will be
dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. My sincere
condolences to her family.
